Sarah and Kurtis' Beautiful, Regina SK located wedding was one of those weddings where all the stars aligned. The forecast was predicting a thunderstorm and you could feel it in the air. Every direction you looked, it seemed there was a storm in the distance. Miraculously, we were spared by the weather gods and we ended up having a perfect lighting day. For the non-photographers out there, that's where there's a thin layer of cloud diffusing the sun (my opinion). Soft light...soft light everywhere, even mid day which is the toughest time to shoot in Saskatchewan.

Make-up by Vanessa Fahlman - The Beauty Loft and hair was done by the wonderful Salon Haze. The Bride's Dress by Pearl and Dot bridal boutique in Calgary Alberta. The flowers are by, who else, but Wascana Flower Shoppe. The groom and his men wore black pants with white shirts, suspenders and bowties, which may be my new favorite look for the boys (Although I recommend someone learn how to tie a bowtie in your group before you commit to them. They always give the groomsmen trouble if they are not pre-tied.)

As you can see, the wedding was full of fun, which is our favourite type of wedding! The bride and groom even got iced, which is a great little surprise for anyone attending a wedding. If you don't know what getting "ICED" is, it's where someone hides a bottle of Smirnoff Ice somewhere, and if you find it, you have to get on your knees and pound the bottle back.
